The Titan Permissioning system in Mika allows authorized permission providers to create SuperGen credentials for users and manage access to Cachet trees.
Before You Begin
You must be an Authorized Permission Provider (APP) User and have your SuperGen login credentials.
After logging into Mika, navigate to Controls and Monitoring > Titan Permissioning.
Create a New SuperGen User
Under Create a New SuperGen User:
- Enter the user's work email address.
- Enter the user's full name.
- Select Add New SuperGen User and Send Email.
A confirmation message will appear when the credentials have been created.
If the user already has SuperGen credentials, Mika will display a message indicating that credentials already exist.
Note: A user's SuperGen username is their work email address.
Manage Cachet Tree Access
First, select the Cachet tree you want to manage.
Reader Access
Reader access allows a user to view the Cachet tree without editing it.
To add a reader:
- Enter the user's SuperGen username.
- Select Add Reader.
- Confirm the user appears under Current Readers.
To remove reader access, select the user's username under Current Readers and select Remove Reader.
Writer Access
Writer access allows a user to view and edit the Cachet tree.
To add a writer:
- Enter the user's SuperGen username under Add a Writer.
- Select Add Writer.
- Confirm the user appears under Current Writers.
To remove writer access, select the user's username under Current Writers and select Remove Writer.
Once removed, the user will no longer have permission to edit the Cachet tree.
